A Modern Disney Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

10+ Cruises • Age 49s

I have never submitted a review before but when I was researching the Disney Wish I saw so many negative reviews that I thought I’d share my thoughts to provide a bit of balance. Hopefully this will help someone decide whether the Wish is the ship for them. A little background for context: This was my 6th Disney cruise. I have cruised with Disney since 2010 and on every ship except the Fantasy. ...

Excellent Cruise, but Expensive

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

2-5 Cruises • Age 67s

This was our first modern Disney cruise. The ship was clean and beautiful. The food in the dining rooms were absolutely the best food I’ve ever had on any cruise line! The food at the pool was average. The buffet was only open for breakfast & lunch, but they had amazing offerings that I’d never seen on a cruise buffet, like Eggs Benedict, Crab Legs & fresh shrimp! The soft serve ice cream was ...

The Wish is a disappointment

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

LJS 2024
10+ Cruises • Age 56s

Our 10th Disney cruise was very disappointing. Have cruised ALL ships in the Disney fleet and our negative experiences of all others combined are not as much as we had on the Wish. We booked an evening meal and a brunch in Palo and were looking forward to both. Palo on The Wish is a long hallway with booths on the side. The servers were very polite and efficient but the poor design worked ...

Great trip with my kids

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

6-10 Cruises • Age 42s

I went on a cruise with my family. Two young children. It was a great experience for them, although my 4 year old didn't love the kids club as much as the 6 year old due to her having more restrictions. My 6 year old was free to roam the kids club as she chose. I've been on a fair amount of cruises. I thought everyone was very friendly, but not really any better or worse than Royal Caribbean or ...

Think twice about the ship if your handicaped

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

First Time Cruiser • Age 66s

I have an adult daughter who is mentally 6 years old and in a wheelchair because of a bone disease and severe arthritis. I have to say it was not very well planned for wheelchairs their doorways with inch and a half ledges at the bottom of the door we’re dangerous the first time I tried to go over it because I didn’t see it, I nearly tipped her out of the chair, thank goodness passengers, all ...

Wish Come True for Age 2, but some flaws

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

The ship is beautiful, the staff exceptionally friendly, food excellent. But there are misses. The App is a PITA. If you don’t buy an online package, you know, to try to detox from social media, you will be so frustrated with even the app service. An no written itineraries with events so you have to find and watch and wait for a slow scroll of events in the hall or go to your room and navigate ...

Don't waste your money!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

First Time Cruiser • Age 37s

This is our first Cruise with our family ( 4yrs old girl and 11yrs old boy). It was a horrible experience… it was not relaxing! The food was terrible- I've never felt so rushed on a vacation for breakfast and lunch because they close super early. I couldn't just take time to drink our coffee and grab few more bites of food.. When your on a vacation it should feel relaxed and timeless. Dinner was ...

Not a cruise for adults only

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

10+ Cruises • Age 69s

The Disney Wish is beautiful. The artwork, decor and styling was typical Disney to set a theme. Took a tour of the ship to appreciate the details they included. If you have children who enjoy Disney characters and movies, they would love the number of character meet and greets and separate areas just for kids. As to adults, the ship has challenges. They have multiple bars tucked in various corners ...

ALMOST a Perfect Wish

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

6-10 Cruises • Age 59s

No other large cruise line comes close to the excellence of disney cruise line. Period. I've sailed in the others and no other large cruise line comes close to disney cruise line overall. Anyone who tells you otherwise, wants a casino, a "deal", more booze or could care less about the finer things in life. The service, cuisine, crew, service, cabin and entertainment are the best at sea! The ...

Fun, But Not the Best Disney Ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

2-5 Cruises • Age 40s

I went on the same cruise ship and itinerary a year ago and wrote this review. https://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=695956 I still agree with most of it. There was a change made for the better - the elevator controls have been switched to standard press buttons! I think this made a huge improvement in the wait times at the elevators. The cast and crew on the ...
