Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Chris Dalrymple
2-5 Cruises • Age 55s

We booked a balcony, got the lowest level room with a porthole. Room smells like a combination of body odor and smoke, toilet rarely flushes, sometimes it will, sometimes 10 minutes later, and sometimes it is hours later.. drying our hair the second night set off alarms in our rooms for with security coming letting us know her body back was on. We have lots of business cards, time wasted in line ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

10+ Cruises • Age 41s

If you want to feel like cattle being herded and like standing in lines then this is your cruise. Royal Carribeans model is pack them in and see how much we can get out of them once they are on. I mean $17 cocktail with a mandatory 22% tip with an additional tip line? Give me a break. Then you have all the drink package people who are desperately trying to get their moneys worth and vomiting ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

10+ Cruises • Age 81s

The staff was nicely attired and well groomed. Many of the lower position staff (like those involved in assisting with safety drills) did not understand English and couldn’t answer simple questions. When understood, Staff members at all levels were very dedicated to complying with passenger requests. Our 9th deck cabin (including the bathroom) and its furniture needed an update. The cabin size ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

6-10 Cruises • Age 49s

From someone who has cruised with Royal and Carnival this is by far the most relaxing and fun cruise for it's price point. I would not recommend this cruise to those with kids. I didn't have an issue with this because I cruised with my sixteen year old daughter (we spend most of our time laying out and in the spa). The ship is older but beautiful. We had a junior balcony and loved it. To be honest ...

Disappointing Breakaway cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

10+ Cruises • Age 74s

From day one there were issues. I had thoroughly researched the Breakaway’s balcony cabins and amenities provided. There was no coffee maker or ice buckets. I had to request these items. We are long time cruisers with NCL. The ship is definitely showing a lot of wear and tear all over the ship. We were a large family (10) and tried to makes dinner reservations online before the cruise to no avail. ...

Great crew, destination but average cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Koningsdam

10+ Cruises • Age 25s

Embarkation and debarkation in Vancouver went really well for our cruise on the Koningsdam. The Crew were the best. Very attentive and were a big plus. We had an inside room which was very good. Very functional and no sound other than voices in the hall. People need to speak softer late at night. Food was average at best. The lido buffet is too small an area. Not enough variety compared to to ...

Adventure: Aging Gracefully

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 42s

Lets get this straight out in the open. I think way too many negative reviews are entitled people who forget this is nearly 25 year old cruise ship. Adventure is older than most of your children. We (family of 4) understand the age and the lack of Oasis and larger ship classes' amenities. You have to go on older ships with a different mindset than ones built in the past 5-10 years. You will enjoy ...

I will never set foot on another cruise ship again

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 31s

For one no one on this boat speaks English as their first language. So there's a language barrier the whole time you're on vacation. The Royal app hardly ever works and doesn't allow you to keep proper communication with your group. The itinerary I received said we would be in one location until 7:30 p.m. and the day of the Excursion they told us to be back on the boat by 3:30 so I had to cancel a ...

Carnival - Through the eyes of a 4 Star "HAL'er"

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

10+ Cruises • Age 58s

Embarkation - Absolute breeze once the Police Dog approved of us getting on board. #DogsRule Port staff was very friendly and accommodating. Time from car drop off to stepping on the ship and into cabin approximately 15 minutes. We were Suite Level therefore our cabin was ready and we were able to stay in the cabin if we chose. Muster Station process quick and easy. Just find Muster ...

All around good but food options were slim.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Glory

Betty Bell
2-5 Cruises • Age 30s

The cruise itself was fun - the biggest issue was food, there was never enough food places open to accompany the amount of people on the ship. Most of the time the deli and the pizza place was the only thing open and it took 45 minutes to an hour to get through the line. One late night buffet was open and the line as well was 45 minutes plus. Every food option should be available at all times. ...
