Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

First Time Cruiser • Age 25s

We rented a car from Avis; they provided a port shuttle to pick up the car. We then went to Twister Airboat Rides and took a 30 minute ride. Our guide stopped and pointed out many alligators and different birds and drove fast for a fun ride. We stopped at Manatee Sanctuary on the way back, which is a nice city park near the Avis drop off. It has broadwalks, trails, a playground, and ponds. Though ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

Having been to Port Canaveral we just decided to take the Disney Bus Transportation to and from the Ticket and Transportation Center. It was a 1 hour ride, we were not going to any parks as the 5 hours there would be wasted waiting on lines. Instead we chose to Resort hop. A 10 min walk to the Polynesian, monorail to The Floridan, walk to the main Magic Kingdom entrance the a walk to the ...

We took the Ron Jon Shuttle to Cocoa Beach, Fl. We were dropped in a parking lot about a mile away from the pier. So a lot of walking. You can rent chairs and umbrellas there. Also only one bar was open on pier and only two stores. The beach is beautiful. ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

2-5 Cruises • Age 50s

Port Canaveral has the Kennedy space center which if you can book that it's a really good time. There are also Manatee excursions and other excursions as well. The only one which was lacking was the space Coast highlights and Cocoa Beach tour. you don't really do or see much and it can be drawn out without much activity to keep your interest. If you can, book something a little more engaging and ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seaside

6-10 Cruises • Age 70s

Port Canaveral embarkation waiting room had a lot of people with very inadequate air conditioning. But otherwise was good embarkation experience. And disembarkation could not have been smoother. I still prefer Tampa or Ft Lauderdale for the free terminal parking for disabled veterans!! ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

6-10 Cruises • Age 50s

We had a rental car and could have managed that better. I dropped four off at the shop and two were meeting us separately. We were some of the last to board. But then I had to take the rental car back and get a ride back to the ship. It worked out fine but I wasn’t fully prepared for the process. ...
