Easy walking distance, and best to just relax and walk round. The hop on tourist bus is great IF you walk into town (or shuttle buse) then get the smaller bud 'GReen' route immediately (the blue route from the port takes you to new business area first and 'wastes' an hour.
Sail away and passing under the bridge is great. ...
It would have been easy to tell us that the main square was a short walk but they gave us nothing, and we ended up waling up the hills, and later hiring a guide ($220 for 2 hours). We saw most of the main sights, and I was underwhelmed. Later we went back after the cruise for 3 nights, and I did not see that much great about the city. The ...
Lisbon we did a tuk tuk tour on our own the first afternoon we arrived. Cross the street from where the boat is and there are tuk tuks lined up. We did a 3 hour one and saw so much of the city, a really fun way to see all the sights. The second day we went to Sintra on our own, we took an uber there, pre bought our tickets on line to the Pena palace, including the bus ticket that allows you ...

It was very vibrant and fun.
On the second day, we took the ship's bus ...
Great city. Had a private tour the first day by a tour guide we met at the port. Make sure you make t to the castle in Sintra and also visit Cascais. Don't forget to find the Nata's. You will know what they are once you try them. @nd day did a short tour with a Tours by Locals tour guide. ...
Beware of the Big Red bus at the cruise terminal. We were told the Red Route took 90 minutes and it took 3 hours in 30 degrees of heat. We were forced to change buses to get back to the cruise terminal ...
Due to the duration in port we did some exploration on our own and a RCCL shore excursion.
It's a fun city to explore; however, we would pass on the "Lisbon City Tour with Maritime Museum" tour if we were to do this port over. The guide wasn't particularly engaging and because of the bus access restrictions and/or inefficient route planning we spend hours crisscrossing the same parts of the ...
