Four Seasons Yachts Cruises

Four Season luxury yacht

About Four Seasons Yachts Cruises

Plans for Four Seasons Yachts were unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in fall 2022. The business is the all-new ocean cruise arm of the global Canada-based hospitality brand Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

With its first 190-passenger yacht set to debut in late 2025, Four Seasons Yachts will expand the company's upscale portfolio of luxury vacation and lifestyle experiences that covers hotels, resorts, residential properties and private jet travel.

Founded in 1960, Four Seasons operates 124 hotels and resorts and 50 residential accommodations in city centers and resort destinations throughout 47 countries, with more than 50 other projects being planning or under development.

The company says the new venture will bring its land-based levels of quality and excellence to cruise vacations.

The first yacht, being constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, is part of a EUR 1.2 billion order that includes the option of two further vessels. Four Seasons has also partnered with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, which was founded by luxury entrepreneurs Nadim Ashi and Philip Levine. Headquartered in Malta, the company handles yacht sales, marketing, marine, technical and navigation matters, crewing and shoreside operations out of its offices in Miami.

Ashi, owner of Miami based real estate and hospitality development firm Fort Partners, has been involved with multiple Four Seasons properties including The Surf Club, Surfside, Florida and the future Four Seasons hotel in Rome. Levine is a former two-time Mayor of Miami Beach and a real estate and cruise entrepreneur.

Other partners involved in the development of the first yacht include Tillberg Design of Sweden, as lead architect responsible for creating the exterior and passenger suites, and London-based Martin Brudnizki Design Studio for the design of public areas.

Four Seasons Yachts will appeal to discerning, well-traveled passengers from around the world that are familiar with its hotel and resort offering.

Do I have to dress up on a Four Seasons Yachts cruise?

Dress codes, even on luxury vessels, are becoming more informal with passengers preferring to be comfortable rather than overly dressed. Although full details of the yacht have yet to be announced, it is likely that that the yacht will have a "resort casual" vibe -- particularly as it will be following the sun and sail in the warm climates of the Mediterranean and Caribbean -- with some folks opting to dress more smartly in the evening.

Is everything free on Four Seasons Yachts cruises?

Fares will vary with individual itineraries, and full details of pricing and inclusions will be announced once reservations open around fall 2023. As a luxury brand it is probable there will be a high number of inclusions.

What are Four Seasons Yachts’s most popular activities?

With extended stays in selected ports, the line will offer bespoke shore experiences that provide an authentic taste of local culture. Passengers can also expect to moor at small and uncrowded destinations that are inaccessible to larger vessels. Back onboard, the ship will feature a spa, salon, wellness program, pool deck and marina platform for watersports.

Best for: Luxe-loving passengers looking for an intimate cruise experience with high levels of personal service.

Not for: Families and anyone looking for round-the-clock entertainment and a lively nightlife.
